El Clasico 

Today, 20th March, 2022, Spanish Giants Real Madrid and FC Barcelona will face each other at the Santiago Bernabeu. 

The fixture has seen Lionel Messi score most goals (26) and seem most prosperous. Cristiano Ronaldo, while playing for Real Madrid had decent outings against FC Barcelona. An epic goal was scored by Gareth Bale in a Copa Del Rey fixture where he ran almost half the pitch with Marc Bartra and scored goalie Pinto sublimely. 

Since 13th May, 1902, both teams have grown into fierce rivals. Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos (both currently PSG players) have featured most (45 each). 

On 19th June, 1943, Real Madrid scored the highest in a single match against Barcelona 11-1. Their last meeting saw Real also emerge winners of 2-3 (a.e.t) Supercopa de Espana on 12 January, 2022. 

Players to watch 

With the Absence of Messi, Ronaldo, Suarez, and Ramos, the Clasico might seem boring but both teams are not lacking young stars and successors. Super names are young Brazilians Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo Goes, and Eder Militao all in Real Madrid. They've been in dazzling form this season. After the January Transfers, Barcelona lit up. They have Ferran Torres, Adama Traore, Pedri, Ousmane Dembele and the Iconic Pierre Aubameyang in their ranks. It really will be a fire cracker between both teams!
